You are sick to suggest that Iraq is a topic that we should not care about. We have played a major part in Iraqi history now and decades ago. We have to hear about our mistakes so that future generations will not trust their prime ministers and politicians so implicitly. Maybe you want to hear about X factor a bit more. Its on tonight and get those fingers busy dialling and paying into the cofffers of ITV...oops you probably thought you were contributing to musical talent and future of musical ability in this country.
It is important as a reminder that we were once a democratic country that did not believe in using lies as an excuse to invade a sovereign nation, however unpleasant its leader may be, without the backing of international law. If it is OK for us, what message does it send to all the other nations which have disputes with each other?
What i'm particularly sick off is people saying that the war in iraq was a war on muslims, then you get the fundamentalists blowing up mosques (you can be the wrong type of muslim it seems).
The insurgents are criminals and wouldn't be happy unless everybody was under their rule.
