Missing Daily Mail today

I live on Essex coast island today no Daily mails were received on Island newsagent says due to elections, whatever that means?!! Is this general or just local issue please, I need to obtain rewards club numbers and check if email I sent yesterday with complaint about Sainsbury's price match and overcharging may have been printed

If you go to mail rewards, click on no reward no in paper of to-days date,submit, then answer the question which is aerodrome, you will then get your points. I had no reward no printed.

I think your newsagent is winding you up. I can't see how an election can result in no Daily Mails!!!

Anyhow, Brenden has helped you regarding the Mail Rewards. I don't buy the Mail every day so can't help you regarding your letter. Maybe another kind ABer can scan through the Daily Mail letters page to let you know if there is anything printed there about Sainsburys.

Thanks all of you in particular Brenden for answer re rewards as you say that should be all I need but didn't have for the points at least regards to all. also thanks wolf63 re sainsburys. In case anyone's interested they charged me £486 bottle for mulled wine instead of £2.99

wendyl - I've just looked at the Sainsbury's web site.

They have two lots of mulled wine displayed, both on special offer. They are listed as follows:

Sainsbury Mulled Wine 75cl ...................... . priced at £2.99

Sainsbury Mulled Wine, Taste the Difference ...... priced at £4.86

Is it possible you accidentally picked up a 'Taste the Difference' bottle? Maybe another customer picked up a dearer bottle, then saw the cheaper one, did a swap, leaving the more expensive bottle for you to pick up a little later!

Good luck, wendyl but I can't see The Mail printing the letter for several reasons. Your best bet is to go to Sainsbury's. You may find, as others have suggested, the price was right or it may have been a coding error that they'd be happy to sort out, You may also be able to buy the Mail there

Thanks again but our newsagent has had a late delivery but meantime a relative has managed to get me one in Colchester i can collect after she gets home from work. Mulled wine does not say Taste the difference but as I have to go back there (about 10 miles) to get refund even if I have to exchange it I will sort out tomorrow and thanks very much again
