tivo box.

having changed to a tivo i am still ploughing through the somewhat long winded operations on it. Having already found that this modern box will not let you remind without recording like the old v box, i was wondering if anyone who has one knows how to do the following. On the old v box when you paused a programme if you wanted to catch up then you just pressed tv and it did so, however on the tivo i find i have to fast forward it to bring it up to time . Any help?
