How far do I have to travel from sout heast coast until I can see a red squirrel.

There are still reds in the Lake District.
The Lake District is one of my fave places in the UK....Watermillock was the last place I stayed at near Lake Ulswater....simply beautiful...and the drive to Bowness-on-Windermere is stunning.......and yes., i did stop at the pub at the top for a ploughmans and a half shandy....has to be done! :0)
