The trouble with spam is how to define it ? After all, its just another email, along with all the other emails that you get every day. Only YOU can tell if its really spam or not.
I use BT Yahoo Mail, which includes a spam filter. This works OK and puts all the emails that it thinks are spam into a spam folder.
But it pays to check this spam folder before you delete its contents, as important things slip through the net.
eg..be careful about marking emails from your bank as spam, as this might result in real emails be erased as spam by mistake.
its a pain in the arse, having to check the spam folder every day but if you don't, you take a real risk is losing things.
