Hope someone can help

Seem to remember a song from probably the late sixties early seventies, thought it was called overboard with a capital o, searched but can't find it anywhere, I know some of the lyrics which are your eyes have magic, they seem to say, come closer,come closer, my darling come closer and somehow i can't stay away....................

its driving me nuts help !

Think this could be - My Resistance Is Low. This was hit for Robin Sarsedt in 1976. But the song itself is much older. Written by Hoagy Carmichael I think. I seem to remember it in an old musical film (My mother used to drag me to the cinema to see them when I was young), something like 7 brides or calamity jane, etc.
