TOM TOM Problems

I have a Tom Tom One and I receive the updates etc. After a recent update the unit seems to have stopped recognising full post codes. If I put AB99 1AB it will recognise the AB99 but ignore the rest. It then wants the street name. Yesterday I was visiting somewhere I've been once before with no sat nav problems but this time it used the first part of the postcode and when I put in the street name it couldn't find it, only the village name.Someone told me this is how Tom Tom have 'upgraded' their product. Is this true or do I need to report a fault? Regards and thanks Sommers

Are you doing a postcode search? If you put the post code in the address then it only seems to search the start of the postcode. If you choose Postcode in the search it seems to use the whole postcode.

Hi, I had the same problem. i contacted their help desk and they sorted it. think they have just released an on line fix.
