Mobile phone

I've been looking at my phone for a couple of days now, it keeps saying mobile network not available. It has taken me a while to discover I had no credit left.
I had about £20 last week. I did text a friend in Spain a couple of lines last week, could this have used up my credit?

Probably not the same problem but my credit did much the same recently when I didn't credit and so had no inclusive texts. Mobile now in for check/repair as I'm convinced it was sending texts multiple times, which accounts why mobile was telling me umpteen times my texts had been sent. Got charged each time !
That said chap in shop was insistent it would be a network problem. Strange how my old/spare handset doesn't seem to have the same issue.

Sometimes credit is only valid for 30 (or 60 or 90) days from the time it is purchased?
But by far the most likely scenario is that an application on your phone has been routinely connecting to the internet & so has triggered data charges.
Ask your phone company to look & see what has been using your credit - if it is 'data connections' then make sure you know how to turn off data (internet) connectivity on your phone - then leave it off all the time unless you actually want to use the internet.
