Tried to book flights to Murcia last month. I tried and tried and the payment wouldnt go through, a whole host of error messages flagged up. Rung Ryanair customer serives was told to log in to the Irish site not the UK site, did that, no luck again. Rung Ryanair again told that there was a temporary fault with the online bookin service and to give them 2-3 hours.
By this time I was annoyed and tired. Tried the next day and the flights had gone up by £28 per person ( group 0f 5 of us).
So I booked with Easyjet to Alicante which meant an extra hour of driving from the airport but the flights worked out a similar price and their booking systems were simple and efficient

I prefer Easyjet or Aer Lingus when I have to fly. Ryanair check-in is like visiting a cattle mart.
Much nicer to take the car on the ferry, far more relaxed, no gestapo taking my nail scissors off me and I can call in on the tax free warehouses in Luxembourg whilst on my travels and bring poo poo loads of stuff back without having to worry about excess baggage costs.
