Is Sqad there? Why does my thumb hurt??!!

My thumb has been painful for a day or two. It feels tender, especially in the region of the nail bed and one side of the joint below. If I press it it really hurts. I don't recall injuring it in any way. I do have pain in my fingers, which I believe must be due to arthritis; knobbly joints in some fingers, and general pains, but this particular pain is something different and a bit peculiar. Any ideas?

Sqad

Yes....a developing paronychia ( nail bed infection)

Bath it twice daily in hot water for 3-4 days and see what transpires.....if it settles...fine, but if it doesn't or gets worse you "may" need antibiotics.
