Murder and forgiveness

Does anyone remember a case where a lady's boyfriend was murdered and she was raped, and her vicar father was also assaulted? The interesting thing was that she publically forgave the murderer. I think this all happened in Ealing, London.

Does anyone remember her name or any other details?

I can remember a case where the vicars daughter was raped but i dont recall the boyfriend being murdered. think the bfriends name was Smith. (robert maybe)

I agree this site is the one I was thinking of.

Later on in that week, the whole family went down the pub, to their local and said, we want to face forward and take up life where we left off....which showed remarkable presence of mind and determination not to let it get them down.....
