Need some help to finish this crossword and thank in advance to anyone who can help. I have two clues I cant do and two which I have answers but cant make them fit the clue.
16A Artificial isle of sailors, wanting a quarter to goround afterwards (11)
I have I?A?T?E?T?C
29A Trouble since coming to coast (6) I have ?S?A?L
The two I am not sure of 44D Be economical with the truth, use fibbing, stall and fudge at heart (7) Could this be HUSBAND, the letters I have are
H?S?A?D and if it is how is that answer arrived at. The next one is 46D
Climber is after core of solid mineral in rock (7) Could this be ORIFICE and if so how is it come by. I can see ORE for mineral and that is it. Thanks again for any help.
