Has anyone got any experience of the Upper Tier at the O2? Websites say you have to have a head for heights to sit there. I`m not bothered about the height but is it so high up that you can`t see anything?

I was on the very top row a few years ago. Its high and steep, but the view was good. Allow plenty of time to get out afterwards as everyone heads to the tube station and there are long delays.

It's no further back than the back seats on the floor.... it is bloody high though and really really steep, which causes the main "eeeek" issue.
I had seats up there once, never again. I think the view was ok, I tried to keep my eyes closed, it's bloody scary

Thanks Chuck. So far, it`s looking like they`re the only seats available although it is in a fairly near to the stage block.

Thanks rockyracoon. I`m not bothered by heights. I just thought the distance (vertically) might feel like being 1/2 a mile away from the stage.
When I went it was to see the dinosaurs, there was no floor seating as they took over the whole area so the view was good, not really sure what the view would be like to see the stage.

Thanks Richard. We usually end up dashing off half way through the last encore to avoid that. It`s a shame to miss it but at least you make a good getaway. I remember we did that when we left Wembley Arena one time. I had parked there so I can`t really think now why we thought we needed to dash off. A man in the carpark said "Why are you running?". I felt like a right prat!
