I want to go to Frankfurt next year (around March 30 2006 and staying for 2 or 3 days). Anybody got good ideas how to get cheap air tickets, places to stay places to look at etc etc? Good web sites to recommend? Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks.

You should be able to get a cheapie from Ryanair if you don't mind a long journey from airport to city. There is a bus in connection with all their flights.
No trip to Frankfurt is complete without sitting down to a plate of handkse mit musik a soft handmade cheese with onions and spices. Not long after eating this concoction your body provides the oompah music if you know what I mean. Wash this down with a bembel of ebbelwei, a large jug of local cidery-type stuff.
for Ryanair to call Hahn airport "Frankfurt" really is stretching it - it would be like Southampton Airport calling itself "London" - Ryanair is undoubtedly cheap, but the bus transfer is nearly 2 hours, traffic willing. If you book now for March, you can get a BA return to Frakfurt International from LHR for under 90.
