Does anyone know what happened to Norman Kember in the end? Has it all gone quiet or has it just passed me by? Ta.

I did a search tonight, and found no update later than 14/12. Strange no mention in the media after all the initial surge of news.

Not strange at all. The press got into trouble for exasibating (sp?) the Ken Bigley situation.

Kidnappers feed off media coverage - if there is little of no coverage, the hostage takers are less likely to try in future.

The press inthis country (for once) learnt a lesson and gave very little coverage to the next lady (who's name escapes me) who was kidnapped.

I am sure it will be on the news if he is murdered, but hopefully, with little coverage, the kidnappers may release him if htey see it as non productive.

Strange one this, I understand that we should not give kidnappers any time on our screens but that doesnt mean every TV network does the same, so someone somewhere must know whats happened to him....? Its more amazing how short the British publics memory is though considering there was a lot of media attention....

Perhaps there is some reason for an agreed security blackout in the press. Meanwhile I can't begin to imagine what all this anxiety is doing to his wife and family and just pray there will be a happy outcome for them all in time for Christmas.
