Inspired by Eccles memories of food from child-hood.

The guests would have to be partitioned off and the chefs would be tearing their hair out.

If you didn't have to foot the bill, what would your ideal 3 course meal be?

Scallops served with a bloody mary sauce

Beef Wellington

Chocolate torte with salted caramel ice cream

Scallops, black pudding, a little samphire, mustard foam and parsnip chips.

Rack of lamb and jus, creamed flagelot beans, potato fondants, roasted cherry toms and a raspberry chipotle jelly.

Chocolate fondant, homemade vanilla ice cream, though my homemade meringue with rapsberry coulis and a selection of berries with whipped Cornish double cream would run a close second.
Venison pate, laced with cointreau

Chicken kiev with new potatoes, brocolli, peas and a light gravy

Strawberry and banana cheesecake

Beef or Venison Welly

Baked New York cheesecake and/or apple tarte tatin with cinnamon ice cream and/or choc fondant with chantilly cream and/or vanilla panna cotta (I can't make just one dessert! lol )
Some very good smoked salmon, thin brown bread and butter, then a black and blue fillet steak, grilled vine ripened tomato (huge) a few excellent chips, Home made mango and ginger sorbet. Champagne throughout please.
antipasti to start or a prawn cocktail or gravlax or all three
rare roast rib of beef with roasties, peas, cabbage, carrots, broc cauli cheese yorkies, the best gravy in the world
