Childhood Food memories......

Inspired by Sherrards corned beef pie like her gran used to make.

I was wondering what foods you love and loathe from childhood.

I loathe lamb stew (grey with slimy pearl barley) and shepherds/cottage pie (reminds me of old folks homes).

I love gingernut biscuits dunked in milk.

Then and still, mum's roast dinners (and spag bol!).

Curry made with a tinned/jar of sauce, boiled rice and the leftover meat from the Sunday roast.

Chicken dibdabs (dippers) with this weird (but lovely) rice stuff.

I loved school dinner curry too, not that it was anything like a proper curry but I liked it.

Sweet wise, rainbow sherbert :)

Mum was a great cook, but I could never manage cabbage, tripe or pigs trotters

I love mince & dumplings

I hate bread pudding & fish pie (reminds me of sick)

I like puddings, apple pies from my childhood. I hate to this day pineapple, cucumber any tinned fruit.
