I would like to politely remind those of you have received a copy of the quiz by email ( Pay on Return) to please enclose your entry fee when returning your finished copy.
I don't want to sound petty but I have already received four replies with no fee enclosed.
This is a small charity which appreciates every contribution however small.
Sorry to hear that rival, but I hope it will not deter you sending them out in this way. Mine will be back with you soon along with payment.
To be honest I have stopped sending for quizzes which I have to pay postage to get the quiz and also postage to send it back.
Due to the cost of postage by only doing the quizzes that are available by e-mail and only requiring stamp and money on return I am able to support more good causes.
Hope more setters are open to this way of obtaining quizzes in the future.
I suppose there will always be th element of risk that not all quizzes are sent back with payment(but these can just be disregarded) but there could be extra entries that would swell the funds a bit more.
If any other quiz setters are open to quizzes being obtained this way please let us know.
Thank you
I wouldn't say you were being petty its more like the people who have sent the entries in without payment who are petty. I hope you will disqualify these entries.
As Straven says its a much better system to receive quizzes by email as postage is becoming an expensive item.
Perhaps you could put 'unpaid' on them when you e-mail them out to remind people?
I too am pleased you're prepared to e-mail them to save postage, thanks!
