I currently pay £30+ for sky,landline and broadband
I have seen reports that people have negotiated to upgrade their packages to include sports for little or no extra
Has anyone any experience or tips

Whenever my OH wants to renegotiate with Sky he always asks for cancellations, he never hangs up empty handed.

Never ring Sky's premium (0844) number either - try 020 7126 7020 or one of the numbers from http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php

If you already have your phone service with Sky, calls to their numbers are free.

Ring them and tell them you've had a quote from Virgin for a similar package and ask what they can do to keep you. Be ready with a few realistic figures.

Yes, just tell them you are going to cancel and they will soon come back with some offers. We said, we didn't really watch it enough to make it worthwhile and they gave us a free sky plus box.
