Hi Sqad. On thursday a friend and I picked up some tortilla chips and I had several with some guacamole. Friday, I had pains that came in waves from L to R in stomach area. I`ve never had pains like that before. Sat mid pm I had some more and finished the guacamole. While out shopping later, I had the pains again and that night I thought I was going to be ill and took a bucket to bed! I had the beginnings of diahhroea (pure liquid) but it didn`t materialise. Fine on Sunday. Tucked away a large roast. No pain. No problem. Sunday early eve I didn`t want tea so had more tortilla chips to nibble on. Within an hour the pain was back. Waves from L to R and then lingered a bit on the R before facing. I had to grit my teeth as it was quite bad. It dawned on me that it was something to do with the chips. Next day (fool like I am) I thought I would try a few more as I wanted to be sure it was the chips and nothing else. No pain but I got really bad diarrhoea. I`m 100% positive it was the chips and I was looking at the ingredients. It could be a corn intolerance but I can eat other brands of tortilla chips with no problem. The high oleic sunflower oil was one of the ingredients. Moral of the story - Stop putting processed rubbish like tortilla chips in your stomach because you don`t know what the hell is in it, even when the ingredients appear innocuous.
