I spend Christmas alone and don't usually put up a tree or decorations. But this year I bought a nice tree, a nice pink one with lights on it. I put it up and it looked nice. Alas I came down stairs this morning to find that Frankie (in my avatar) was sitting eating it.
I think that the litter tray contents may be bright pink for a day or so.
I was thinking of trading him and his sister in for a puppy.
I had a midnight feast of left over curry. Left the plate on the side before going to bed (still quite a bit left over) Woke the next morning and it was gone. OH said that the cat ate it at 5.30 in the morning....
I got as far as bending the needles out, No decorations on it, most mornings there are usually 3 cat's play fighting in it, it's gone over that many times. :-(
used to have to tie my tree to the wall as my cat would take a running jump at it from the other side of the room bringing it down...think it was the sparkly baubles he was aimimg for !
murraymints - I will be lurking on the web at Christmas.
When I was adopted by my first cat I thought that he was clumsy because he kept knocking ornaments off shelves. I couldn't believe it when I actually caught him doing it intentionally. It was a sort of kittie putting range.
They are really evil animals - wrapped up in a little furry body.
we have bought a three dimensional small xmas tree for the wall because we have two dogs & a cat and we worry they would knock a tree over and cause an eletrical fire.I loved the cartoon.
I love Simon's, think i've watched them all, along with Maru on Youtube, they crack me up.
As for the tree, i'm dreading putting ours up. Last year we had to tie string round the middle and nail it to the wall, Indi still managed to pull it down and break one of its feet. This year she's 4 times as big as she was and a thousand times more evil. Probably be easier to nail her to the wall for the duration of the Christmas period ;-)
