I can't believe someone on Ebay has put this up for £150!!!! Seriously taking the biscuit (or should I say, pudding!). Would people actually pay that much for a pudding?

I think they were very popular a couple of years ago and do seem to remember them being sold on ebay at quite high prices because waitrose couldn't meet demand pre christmas. Just had a look on ebay and there are loads for sale, seem to be a could of quid - didn't see one on there for 150, I don't think anyone is going to pay that much

It's got 10 days to go on it and has a Buy It Now for £150 or Best Offer. Perhaps by 10 days' time when you can't get hold of it anywhere, it might sell for £150 but I would be surprised if it does. You have to eat it by January so it's not even got a long shelf life.

Me neither...I dislike Christmas pud anyway but my Mum bought one out of curiosity a couple of years ago and it went in the bin. Not nice.

I've paid twelve quid for this year's Waitrose pud which won the Good Housekeeping prize (and eight quid for the Aldi one which came second) - we're eating in a large group this year!

Kiki, I am the only person at the Christmas table (25 of us) who dislikes it. I have to make it every year for them and they eat the lot! lol
