Hmmm...I see your point. However, I don't think David would approve of being referred to as 'Lady Furnish' because he would then sound like a store that exclusively sold sofas to women.

I would like to expand the question somewhat - you know when you have to fill in forms that ask you 'Married/Single/Divorced/Widowed - will companied add add a new category 'Partnered'?

I did read - but in a tabloid so don't take it as gospel - that he will be known as 'Laddy' rather than Lady!!!!!
