Movie The King's Speech

Deciding what to take on DVD to the inlaws for Christmas. Is the C word mentioned in The King's Speech or is it (only!!!) the f word on many occasions? What's the certificate rating?

From memory, no c word. A few f's but portrayed in such a manner that one can't help but smirk. I believe it was initially rated a 15 by the censors but after an outcry by the cast and BFI in relation to the context in which the profanity was used it was dropped to a 12A.

It's thoroughly entertaining viewing, just warn the rellies beforehand, just in case!

It is a very good film,Mitchell.....a few effs but in context, and I can't remember any seas.........great acting and Colin Firth thoroughly deserved his Oscar - great shooting and direction from Tom Hooper too.

my 77 year old mother thoroughly enjoyed it, by the way, though she can't remember going to see it!

I saw this at the cinema and didn't really expect to enjoy it. I went with a friend who wanted to see it.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Make sure you've got some tissues handy for the final scene, it's emotionally spellbinding.

Thank you all so much guys!! Believe it or not I have seen it myself some time ago, but was sure it had c word in it! Just needed to confirm that! Will tell the in laws to expect bad language, so relieved it's not the c word though, as that would have been a definite no-no!!! Thanks again for taking time to respond!
