I need to send some docuemtents in a postal tube to the USA and need to pre-pay for the return of the package. I was told to buy international reply coupons but on the Royal Mail website it says they no longer sell these?

How am I supposed to do this?

Have you tried asking the on-line assistant on the royal mail website :

http://www.royalmail.com/customer-service/personal-customers

or telephoning your local Royal Mail customer care centre to see what advice they give ?

It might be that you will have to send the postage cost over to the recipient in the US and they will have to post it themselves . Reply-paid postage over international borders sounds a bit awkward - but good luck with it anyway .
Has the person / organisation in the USA got a paypal account ? If so it is a very easy and cheap way to pay the postage costs. Paypal can be used for any payment not just ebay items.
i used to use IRC's 20 years ago when writing to family history contacts across the globe, they were a way of sending postage to other countries for people to reply to your enquiry, I think they died a death with the invention of the WWW.
