'morny stannit' sketch

newspaper seller shouts out the above but is then educated by a businessman to say 'morning standard' instead. eventually pronounces it coreectly. camera pans in on the pile of papers he is selling and they are called 'morny stannit'.....was this the two ronnies or morecombe and wise?

Morecambe and Wise - Eric was the newspaper vendor.
I would have said the 2 ronnies - coz of their fixation with wordplay - remembering the sketch in the hardware shop - I want fourcandles!!!

i was leaning more towards the 2 ronnies
Although I agree it does sound very much like a Two Ronnies type of sketch, it was actually Morecambe & Wise. I can remember the wonderful contortions on Eric's face as he shouted out the words!
