What's the world record for the longest living hamster?

I know they live up to around 2 years, but have any hamsters have any world record of living even longer?

I had a hamster that I don't even think made it to its 2nd birthday. Yes, let's just pretend that's true. You are the longest living hamster. But still, how do you get a hamster to live that long? As they often don't live long, the owner must have either looked after it REALLY well, or there was something in its genes.

our hamster lived for 3 years. they age very quickly at the end and ours went from being frisky and palyful to being on its last legs in just a week. the vet told us they call them tumour kings as they get so many as they age and in the wild they only live for 12 to 18 months. He was a good pet but they do stink a bit and was active at night more. RIP bobby.
