Primus Broadband ?

I have been looking at a cheaper phone and broadband supplier as i am paying £48 a month with Talk Talk
I have seen an offer from ' Primus Broadband' for £1.24 a month plus £12.78 line rental , this is a lot cheaper but I have never heard of Primus before , anyone use it ? Any good and pit falls ?
It has a 20 GB download allowance but i do very few downloads , mainly AB & ebay for me and facebook for my OH , she plays a lot of facebook games though will it handle them ?

I've not heard of Primus. If you are able to receive Virgin in your area, then they have a great offer of £19 for 30Mb broadband and telephone, rising to £29.50 after three months. That is still a big saving for you.

eddie too add to sir.prize's answer regarding virgin if you have a friend/relative with them if you get them to "refer" you the last time i checked its £50 off both your bills.

£48 seems high for TalkTalk as they are currently offering unlimited broadband, free phone calls to UK landlines and TV for £14.50 per month plus line rental.
Why not phone them (should be free on 0871 222 3311) to ask if they have a cheaper deal for you.

im on tesco broad band £2.49 p/m (special offer)for a year ,up to 20mb speed unlimited down load + £13 odd for phone line
