Signed Off For 2 Weeks, Due Back When ?
8 Answers
Hi,
Was signed off sick from work last Wednesday for 2 weeks although my next shift wasn't due to start until the following day. I guess I'm due back Wednesday week. Reason I want to confirm is I'm booking a hospital appointment for Thursday week which'd be difficult as I'd be working the night before & that night.
Any way round not working the Wednesday night ?
Thanks

I am seeing doc again on the Tuesday, for more painkillers. But, as I say, not keen on more sick leave.
I just think it's bit ironic that if the 2 weeks off had started when I was actually due to work, I wouldn't have this "problem". But the doc caught me out, signing me off - wasn't expecting it - & I'm not devious enough to have suggested she do it from the next day. Would've solved a LOT of probs !
