Father Christmas or Santa?

Am I the only person now that calls the big man who delivers our presents Father Christmas? It seems now that everyone calls him Santa. I always thought this was the American name for him? Why isn't anyone calling him Father Christmas anymore?!

This probably has something to do with the PC brigade again, as it is sexist to have a Father Christmas and not a Mother Christmas. So to avoid any confusion people are saying Santa Claus, even though Santa is an anagram of Satan!
