I have been told I have Adie's pupil and I would like to know if anyone else has this same problem. How has it changed your life, or if it has caused more problems for you?

you'd better send him back to school, Adie's been looking for him for ages. His geography homework's late!
that was a bit uncalled for bob - it took me a while to find it on the WWW but have found that Adie's Pupil is a genuine eye complaint/disorder in which one pupil is smaller than the other and cannot contract as good as the other, is this correct Gale?
I don't have the same condition but do have astigmatism which is the narrowing of the pupils (slightly oval) also i have nystagmus which is a fluctuation in focusing of each eye causing them to "wobble" as the counteract each other. It was a problem as a kid as i used to cock my head to one side to focus, and when i grew older i couldn't look people in the eye as i was self-conscious of being notice, but now i've learned to live with it and i tend to focus on a person's now when i talk to them. Other than getting tired easy when reading, life is pretty much normal. hope this helps
that was the most horribly typed answer for a long while - you can tell i'm full of cold. shall i try again?.

I don't have the same condition but do have similar problems with astigmatism which is the narrowing of the pupils (they are slightly oval). Also i have nystagmus which is a fluctuation in focusing of each eye causing them to "wobble" as they counter-act each other. It was a problem as a kid as i used to cock my head to one side to focus, and when i grew older i couldn't look people in the eye as i was self-conscious of being noticed, but now i've learned to live with it and i tend to focus on a person's nose when i talk to them. Other than getting tired easily when reading, life is otherwise pretty much normal. (that's better yes?)
yes, i was in a bit of a facetious mood yesterday - normal service has now resumed though.
All the vowels in order!

bobbobley, sorry but I think it's you who needs to go back to school. What might not seem important to you, is very important to someone else. So before making a joke about something you know nothing about, please take alittle more time in looking it up. Thanks to everyone else.
Yes, I was diognosed with Adies Pupil about 2 1/2 yrs ago and it really has not caused any more problems. But I'v also developed the problem of no reflexes in my arms and legs. My neurologist has had me on B12 injections for the past 6 months and it seems like the shots are repairing the nerve damage to my arms and legs but she said it would never fix my eyes. she is still running more tests.
