Good morning and maybe goodbye Boaty and all. Going to try to get the car up the icy slope....drive through the foggy lanes and arrive at the hospital for a second scan attempt.
If they muck it up again I have a plan. Martin, the radiologist is smaller than me. I shall lure him into the broom cupboard and hold him hostage til action is taken.

A quick morning to you all from a cold Edinburgh..wee bit of snow..staying at mum's for a bit.. dad bit brighter yesterday..waiting for cultures to show what his infection is...just MAY get home over the weekend if it is straightforward...happy Friday to you all..xx

No frost this morning on the south coast.....sun peeking through.

Can I just say that I love my car mechanic....rang him at 8.30am telling him that I had a slight squeeling noise coming from my steering wheel, on turning corners etc, on my Previa...he said " nip it down, mate, I'll have a look......so I did at 8.45am......All done.....it was the Power Steering belt was slightly loose and playing up, even with the headlights on.......he said no charge as it only took him 2-3 minutes to diagnose and to tighten it up......so gave him a tenner for a drink. Home at 9.05am. Now THATS service.

So loads of respect to those mechanics out there that DONT rip you off and all hail to them.

I can go to work a happy chap. :0)
