Just About To Take My First Sachet In Prep For Colonoscopy Tomorrow

Hi there I am just about to take my first sachet in prep for colonoscopy tomorrow Moviprep. I have to take a glass of 250ml 4 times an hour and then make up another 1 4 in total. I can mix it with lime cordial or orange squash if it tastes too bad. I will let you know how I get on. I am just chilling out and I am going to watch a film this afternoon probably Its a wonderful life or brief encounter. I cant imagine this moviprep being too bad

I believe there are different flavours available now. When I had mine there was only vanilla which wasn't bad, but since then I can't stand the taste or smell of it. By the way, the colonoscopy was a piece of cake.....didn't feel a thing.

The prep is by far the worst part my ex said ( she has a very hair triggered retch reflex and struggles to drink it because she hates the taste), the going to the loo was not a problem and most importantly the colonoscopy itself was nothing at all to worry about. Best of luck to you:)

stay near the loo. I mean really near the loo. Have plenty of the softest loo roll that money can buy and don't let anyone else use the loo. Its all a bit farcial but not awful, saw my DH through it a few times.

Its not pleasant I know but the worst is nearly over now. Keeping drinking clear fluids as you really do need lots of water to stop you dehydrating
