Feed The Birds.

Do you feed the wild birds? I always have done but a lot of my neighbours dont seem to bother now.

I do buy bird food lots of it. I have various different feeders with selections of food love to watch them from the kitchen window. I have to fill them up every other day peanuts,seeds,sunflower seeds.worms.fruit, fat balls, fat blocks and we make up our own mix and fill coconut shells birds love
them.

Have always fed the birds since I was little, Im similar to you Futritcat - make up my own lard feeders out of yoghurt pots and string and also fill up old coconut shells, plant pots. I also put out scraps all year round - bread, cheese, cooked rice, bacon rind (chopped up tiny), apple cores - always readily wolfed down by Blue tits, coal tits, robins, black caps, long tailed tits, greenfinches, bullfinches - such a pleasure to see them!
