hair not growing

several years ago my son who is 9 had lovely thick hair that could be quiffed back and combed in different styles , now for the last 3 years it has stopped growing to the extent that his hair doesnt need a comb anymore due to its shortness

what has caused this?-is there some deficency?

Instead of the usual 18. some kids stop growing hair earlier and then again he could be pressured at school or either hes maybe stressed out about something.

scoooby - good call could well be , as he tends to isolate himself at school and does not play with anyone at playtime and walks on his own-this behaviour coincides with the last 3 years
