Celebrity Quiz Programmes
At the moment pointless and Eggheads are running celebrities quizzes. Most contestants are not celebrities and some are so thick it's not true. Please let's get back to the public and put some decent teams forward and not the usual cannon fodder

My funniest "wrong" celebrity answer on these quizzes was a few years ago when they had a celebrity "Weakest Link" with Anne Robinson. The question was "Which country gives a Christmas Tree to the UK each year, that goes up in Trafalgar Square, in thanks for the support we gave them in Word War 2". And the answer given was "Germany" !

My botton part of the answer which got chopped off was Their are some brilliant quiz teams around the country so why do Eggheads researchers bar them from the programme
A much better quiz programme would be to invite 63 of the best teams in the country plus the Eggheads and have a knockout competition . This would make great TV.

Personally I think they should dump both programmes. I did enjoy Pointless at first but once the novelty wore off it became a bit boring. I like a quiz where I can find out immediately if I am right about something or other. I can think up numerous answers to the questions on pointless, but they might not even get a mention, so I am none the wiser.
Eggheads has all become a bit 'samey' now as well. Plus, considering one team is probably the 'best quiz team in Britain', some of the questions would not trouble a fiveyear old.

>>>It was the fact that he was so smart aleckey and very rude to his team mate.
I think CJs team mate got a little peed off that CJ was answering all the questions and not giving him a chance to contribute (not that he knew the answers anyway).
At one point CJ asked him if it was OK to give a certain answer, and his partner just blanked him.
CJ then said "well that is the answer we are going to give anyway".
I think CJ would have won it even if he had been on his own.
