special kind of font - writing

ive seen this most commonly on 'myspace' the 1st line of writing is 1/2 hidden beneath the 2nd line..its really hard to describe! for example with 'hello, how are you' the hello would be 1/2 underneath the how are you..sorry its confusing. ANYONE have any ideas how to do it? its obviously some html code

Not really sure what you want to achieve...this could simply be done in such as Photoshop or PSP graphic software which uses layers...by moving one layer to overlap another as many times as you want..then simply merge the layers.........can't thing of any other way.
