Bob Dylan - Whassup
5 Answers
Is it true that Budweiser's annoying 'whassup' catchphrase came from a part of a Bob Dylan track? If so, which track is it from?

what plop, rimram. Why wouldn't friends have catchphrases??; "is that a fact or just conjecture?", being one of my friend's catchphrases, he says it many times a day. . - although, i could agree that 'whassup' is more of a catchword rather than phrase, 'give it some welly' is a catch phrase; "say what you see, if you see it, say it", is too. I got several catchphrases of my own, one is 'what's going off?", another is "what's going on?" i didn't invent them but if you repeat them oftener than anyone else they're yours by default. [and not a lot of people know that], well they do now, "oy! have you seen my washboard?"
