Put aside for one minute that this kid is on 30k per week and can afford the fine. Is this political correctness gone too far?

Who thinks that a bit of banter between team mates over twitter should be overlooked?

Or... Because these players are admired and looked up to by their fans do they have a responsibility to be politically correct?

I do actually agree, it does seem a tad harsh.

I do think the word "banter" is thrown around willy nilly, though, and often used as an excuse/reason when being abusive to someone - like it makes it ok.

Suso is 18/19 but plays regularly in the first team, Liverpool.
