Telephone With Audible Alarm On Answering Machine

Can anyone suggest a pnone that has a audible alarm denoting a message received rather than a visual alarm. Thanks for any help.

I would doubt that there is such a thing as it would either make a noise when the message is left (presumably you would have answered the phone if you'd heard it ring, so a second noise is unnecessary). Or it would have to make a continuous noise, which could be very annoying if neighbours could hear it.

My BT cordless phone/answerphone used to beep every 30 seconds when it had an unlistened to msg, unfortunately it was also completely useless and died after 18 months :-( This site http://www.cordless-phones.uk.com/cordless-phones/cordlessphones-answering-machine/ is pretty good for technical details so should be able to tell you which do have the feature you require.

Thanks for the link Fitzer. I too have a cordless BT fREELANCE XA 500 which has a similar response to yours but alas after numerous years is on the blink hence the post.

I had to ring the people on the link I gave you to clarify something and they were excellent in finding out and getting back to me, as the tone wasn't important to me I went with Panasonic as they have an excellent reputation.
