I disagree with the above posts. If you have been taking your pill properly, it will protect you during the 7 day break as well. The instructions in the packet will confirm this.

i know im gonna take a test anyway but i rea here somwhere, to wait a montha t least and then take it?

I agree with chazza, if you have been taking the pills at the right time every day then during your 7 day break you will also be protected. But if you are in any doubt about whether you've taken all the pills at the right times etc, do take a test, just to be on the safe side!

I'd really suggest you read the instruction leaflet cover-to-cover - there are lots of things that can make the pill less effective, and also tips on what to do in various situations, so definitely worth reading unless you want unnecessary stress!
