glad I was able to help. Thanks for 'best answer'. I think lots of people will have put 'hairdresser' at first for 24a, and I am now going to ask my neighbour for her copy of the Sunday Post so that I an redo the crossword, as my first attempt is a bit messy due to my error with 24a!
