leaking mixer tap cold water side

i have a mixer tap and the cold water side of it drips constantly. any suggestions as to how to fix it as i am a complete novice and idiot when it comes to plumbing!

It will need a new washer. Try a google search with key words: mixer tap leaking washer replacement

This could also be a ceramic valve, best get a plumber.

Ceramic valves are easy enough to replace yourself. Just remember to turn off the water supply first. Hopefully there will be a service valve on the pipe just below the taps like this .
