What A Xmas!!

little girl next door who had a stroke is improving which is fantastic news for all of us and her parents,then had my 80 yr old mum down over xmas and she complained about an ache in her side so i took her to her doctors yesterday and she has got shingles and in a lot of pain and now i have strained my arm what an end to the year x

My niece had a stroke at 9 years old, she has done amazingly well.

Sorry to hear some of your bad news bernie. My GP once told me most unsympathetically "illness doesn't care about Christmas". Hope things improve for your mum and you.

You Mum has my sympathy having Shingles. I contacted them over Christmas 5 years ago and still have neuropathic pain occasionally.

So sorry to read about your neighbours little girl. Thats really scary.
