How can I remove this completely from my PC ?

I checked add/remove function, but i don't see it.

Any ideas ?

Why do you want to remove it?

If you dont like it just dont use it and install another browser.

I don't know quite what happened ? I use Firefox and i recently installed a Firefox update but for some unknown reason after the installation, IE keeps popping up with advertisements as I am browsing using Firefox ?

Its so annoying. I want to remove IE completely...

click on my computer..click on add/remove programmes..find ie and uninstall it..it SHOULD be on add/remove programmes...

I asked this question a few years ago, in the days of the lovely Ethel, who told me that I.E. can never be removed, and as VHG suggests, just use another browser.- rosy

Go to Add/Remove Programs and you should see 'Turn Windows Features On or Off'.

Click on that, and tick the Internet Explorer box. Or remove the tick if it is ticked.
