read in the paper yesterday this couple and teenage kids went on a cruise with Royal Caribbean passenger capacity 3,600 people and 2,500 of them turned out to be bikers & partners on their annual cruise, they took over the ship and made everyone's life a misery. How unlucky can you get, it was for the woman's 50th birthday.

Oh, my giddy aunt!!!!!! 2,500 bikers.........Mmmmmm. ;-)
thanks graham - having read that, I don't know why, but I really can't find it in my heart to feel sorry for mrs empson

and describing the other handsomely paying passengers as //a gang// is hilarious. Most of them look like their menacing days are well behind them
They hardly "took over the ship" if it was a biker cruise - the report makes it sound as if they behaved like pirates!
//beechwear// sqad? they were wearing foliage??
I'm disappointed that the family couldn't be told because of "personal privacy" reasons. The could have been offered an informed choice of dates.
On the other hand, the ship would have sailed with 1,100 empty berths if people chose not to go on that specific cruise.
£4000 for EIGHT people? That's awfully cheap for a week long cruise.
While the bikers look like they are having a whale of a time, the cruise company really should have informed all other customers of this.

Will anyone else be looking for refunds I wonder.
I like the 'treasured chests' fancy dress.
pirate biker bingo - fight! fight!!

sorry, at £500 quid a go for a week's cruise, I'd be asking why it was so cheap.
