Who Is Having Haggis & Neeps Tonight ?

I have bought a small haggis from Sainsburys and have bought turnips & neeps but now we are getting on in years if we eat after midnight as we have done in hotels etc for new year celebrations we know we will be up all night with indigestion etc so we have decided to have for lunch tomorrow instead, shame but there it is. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all A/B ers.

Turnips & neeps??? Do you mean tatties & neeps? Either way enjoy your lunch, we always have steak pie when in Scotland for New Year. Having established that my fridge is pretty empty I have bugger all for supper and it's looking the same way for tomorrow.

Perhaps I should have gone shopping today........

OK, I've cheated a bit 'cos, instead of proper neeps and tatties, I've got the prepared potato, carrots and swedes from Morrison's chiller cabinet - but I've still got the haggis!

More importantly, I've got a wee dram (or two) to go with it ;-)
