i still have to put the key in the lock to work my central locking. does it only work with remote central locking?

carol is right. The same method can be employed to open your car if there is little charge left in the battery of your remote key.

This can also work over a distance, say 200 yards it will not work normally but put it to your head and it works, no idea how
