Were you a good teenager? Bad teenager?
I thought I sailed through my teenage years...(I think)
Waking my son up in the morning is painful. Enough to put me in bad form. I woke him at half 9 and he's still getting ready to do a paper round....A PAPER ROUND!!!!!
He has two jobs, which is good, but how do they not hear the alarm???

Dad was quite strict so he'd be waiting to see me in at 10.30pm at 16 yrs old! My daughter was a bit of a worry at times but she loved money too and had little Saturday jobs to earn something. She's always has that work ethic. I'm still not a morning person. It was a case of 'just five more minutes' when the alarm went off when I was younger. But if you want the dosh you have to get up to earn it. Your son shows he wants to earn so don't damp his spirit, just keep waking him up.
Pretty typical for a kid my age, did the paper round, went on the wag every now and then and got into the usual scrapes kids did. Left school on Friday and started at the pit on Monday and discovered I couldn't do without money and the things it brought, scooters, cars, beer and birds, got drunk, but never did drugs, spent about ten years arguing with dad every time we saw each other, got a reputation as being somebody you don't mess with. Had a bad marriage then eventually settled down to a normal life. As I said just a typical bloke.
