This has just dropped though my letterbox. Anyone else had one? I just wondered how wide-spread the survey is. I`ve got plenty to say though (and not all of it complimentary)

You have been sent a questionnaire because you were randomly selected from adult patients registered with a GP in England. About 1.36 million adult patients registered with a GP in England have been selected for this wave of the GP Patient Survey.
So, its nothing personal, just put in your experiences, both good & bad.

I've had two over the past two years. Just general truthful answers, like having a stroppy cow of a receptionist (now replaced). Not seeing the same doctor who initially treated me. Not able to have certain new tablets prescribed (because of cost) to my husband. Other than that our surgery is bright and clean with TV and books for the longest wait of our lives. And a new cafe in the adjoining healthcare centre to get over the shockof having to pay a small fortune for those who have to pay for their prescriptions.
Just filled it in. As usual there are no boxes to put comments. The powers that be can`t really get a very good picture of peoples` opinions when the answers have to be one that they have provided. Interesting to see the question about privacy (when you speak to the receptionist). I wonder how long it took them to realise that people don`t like giving out all their details in front of a whole waiting room of people.
